British Airport Links are an Airport Transfer Specialist company who have been providing an Airport Transfer Services since 2014. We have well over 100,000 satisfied clients who use us for all their airport transfers both when arriving into London and going back to the Airports.
What type of service do we provide?
We are open 24 hours, 7 days a week and we provide transfers from anywhere in London and the surrounding counties to any of London’s 5 Major Airports – Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton & London City Airport. We also provide Seaport transfers and a local cab service as well.
How easy is it to book with britishairportlinks.com?
It should not take you more than a couple of minutes to complete a booking with britishairportlinks.com. At the top of this page, there is a “how to book” tab. What areas do we cover?
We cover the whole of UK and all surrounding areas. We pick up from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Luton, Stansted & London City Airport. We drop to all London post codes as well as the areas surrounding the Main London Orbital Motorway the M25. We also pick up from all these areas to drop to any of the London Airports by Pre-Booking.
Which airports do we cover?
We cover the 5 main London airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton & London City Airport but will happily pick you up from another UK airport or pickup locations.
What type of Vehicles do we have?
We have a fleet ranging from standard Saloon cars to Estate and 7 Seaters (MPV’s). We can also provide larger vehicles for groups of up to 49 passengers if required. How early do I need to book?
Generally if booking online you are advised to book 24 hours in advance. However, you can call us up to 4 hours before you need the cab and we will happily accept your booking over the phone. You can also call us once you have landed and we generally have drivers around the airports who will be happy to come and pick you up.
How can I pay for the service?
You can either pay while making the booking online by Visa, Master Card, American Express, Euro Card or any other credit or Debit card. Alternatively, you can pay cash to the driver on arrival at your destination. All prices are quoted in advance so you know exactly how much you will be paying.
Can I cancel my booking?
A booking can be cancelled in advance by giving 12 hours notice. A fee of £10.00 will be deducted for any prepaid transfers which are cancelled. For cash bookings, there will be no charges applicable for cancellations notified prior to 12 hours of the pickup time. Any booking made on the basis of paying cash to the driver secured with a credit card or debit card will be charged the full fare in the event of cancellations notified under 12 hours. All prepaid booking cancellation notified under 12 hours will not be refunded.
Is britishairportlinks.com is a licensed company?
By UK Laws all Mini-Cab companies have to be licensed by the Public Carriage Office (Transport for London).
Do we operate a fixed price policy?
Yes, the price quoted is the price you pay. You may however be charged extra if you have ordered the wrong vehicle type. I.e. you order a saloon and all your luggage does not fit into the boot. You would then be charged the difference of an estate car. Or if there is excessive waiting at the airport while picking you up.
Do I need to pay in advance?
No. You can pay the driver in cash when you reach your destination. Should you wish to pay in advance, you may do so online using your credit/debit card. We do not keep any of your card details; these are processed by Pay Pal who offers a secure service. Our drivers do not have any facilities to accept any kind of credit or debit card in their vehicles.
Do You Charge extra on Christmas Day or New Years Day?
Our price on Christmas Day and other holidays may change. Normally, we do not charge extra on Public Holidays. The price you see online is valid for any day of the year. We do however suggest you book well in advance as we do get fully booked for Christmas Day very quickly due to the lack of other public transport.
Will you meet us at any time of the day or night?
Yes, our offices are opened 24 hours a day “7 days a week including all public holidays as well as Christmas and New Years Day. We have drivers working 24 hours and can organise a car any time required.
What if my flight arrives early or is delayed? Will I be charged extra?
Britishairportlinks.com continuously monitor flight arrival times and DO NOT send the driver into the terminal until your flight has landed. Should your flight landing time change our driver will come into the terminal accordingly to meet you. Generally, we send our driver into the terminal 30 minutes after your flight has landed unless you request a quick exit.
What happens if my flight is cancelled?
If your flight is cancelled please call us and let our controller know and we will not send the driver. If you have paid in advance this payment will be refunded back to you. Fees, Terms & Conditions apply.
What happens if I miss my flight?
Again, like cancelled flights, if you let us know on +44 20 8577 2400 that you have missed your flight we will not send our driver. Please check our terms & conditions.
What happens if my flight is diverted to another airport?
If your flight is diverted please call us on +44 20 8577 2400 as soon as possible and if possible we will organise to send the driver to the diverted airport or we will cancel the booking depending upon the situation at the time. Additional charges may apply.
Where do I meet my driver when I land at the airport?
Once you have made your booking we will send you a confirmation e-mail confirming your booking and letting you know exactly where your driver will be waiting. In most terminals, it is in front of the airport information desk.
What if I cannot locate my driver?
In your e-mail confirmation, we will give you 2 telephone numbers to call in case you don’t see your driver. The first number is our control room number which is +44 (0)207 1834 822 and the second number is +44 20 8577 2400. You can just go to the pay phone which is usually located near the information desk. We will then call the driver and send him over to you.
Will the transfer be direct or stop on route?
You are paying for the whole vehicle and not per person. It is a private hire for you only. The vehicle will take you directly to your destination.
How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?
Once booked you will receive an e-mail confirming your booking. You can also call our 24 hour control room and our controllers will be happy to let you know if your booking is confirmed.
Can I get a receipt?
Yes if you need a receipt just ask your driver. Our drivers carry receipts in their vehicles and will be happy to give you one at the end of the journey; If paying by credit card then you can print out the Pay Pal payment receipt as your receipt. You will also be able to print a receipt through your login on our web site after your journey.
